I love their reliable service, and I have trusted Good Guys Guns for years! They were extremely patient when I was first becoming familiar with guns; never patronizing or rude. They respected my desire to learn to shoot and helped me make the right choice in buying a pistol. It is great to know I can stop by with questions about modifications, new models, etc. When i wanted a rifle, there was no other choice for me. Fair prices, fabulous service you will not find anywhere else; Good Guys Guns is the best!
What is there about gun shop salespersons!? They are, in general, the grumpiest people -- who make their livings off selling merchandise to fellow human beings -- I've ever encountered. The man and woman manning the counters at Good Guys are anything but good guys. How cranky are they? I went in to buy a $500 gun and their indifference bordered so closely on rudeness that my money and I walked. I would not recommend these grumps to anyone but, then again, the gun dealer up the street and two more a mile or so away were little better! Why? Minimum wage? A belief that being pro-NRA means you have to scowl all the time? Worry that a customer is going to take their 2nd Amendment Right away? Me, I'll order online and try using the FFL at Pickers Paradise in Medford.
Makes ya wonder about the mentality or IQ of these guys. How do they stay in business? I called to see when the gun I wanted was going to arrive and he got all frustrated and irritated because he just couldn't say when, didn't want to take my phone number for a call back. Here I am with $550.00 in my hand ready to go get the gun and ammo. Now after that treatment I'll go elsewhere. My experience squares with the other review I read about these "Good Guys."
