Gene has been an excellent dentist (and a friend) for me for probably 20 years. His office staff is also friendly and helpful. But this last time I was informed that the state board of dentistry(?) has now ruled that a patient MUST HAVE X-rays every couple of years and that the dentist is required to see the patient - $95 additional charge - to examine the mouth and teeth. If this is not done, the staff informed me the dentist could lose his license.This is another example of government interference to which I object. I trust that the dental hygienist who cleans my teeth is well enough trained to detect problems. If I detect any, I would have an Xray done and would certainly want Dr Meyerding to do whatever procedure is necessary as he has always done a good job. But requiring unnecessary X-rays and exams will send me to someone else for a simple cleaning or to simply skip it .

I'm very happy with Dr. Meyering being my dentist. I've been his patient for over 10 years and I've had nothing but good experience since I've been his patient. Everyone in the office is very friendly. I like the he keeps his office clean and I'm always relaxed when I'm there. I would definitely recommend his dental office to anyone looking for a good dentist in the area. -Rob

Consider me a satisfied client-referred! My daughter has lived in Medford for some time, so when we moved here she had nothing but great things to say about her dentist Dr. Eugene Meyerding. And for 16 years now we have been seeing him and never once considered changing! He and his staff are very good at what they do, but they also make you feel very comfortable and at ease.
