Our leadership team is committed to giving each of our members a voice and honoring our belief that people are worth more than money. A not-for-profit cooperative financial institution with assets in excess of $1 billion, we were chartered in 1967 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and offer credit union membership to anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school or regularly conducts business in Suffolk County, NY as well as immediate family members of current membership. Our members dont just bank at Suffolk Federal; they also own and operate it. Our earnings are returned to our credit union members through lower business loan rates and personal loan rates, higher return on business savings rates and personal savings rates, and reduced fees, enabling our more than 55,000 members to achieve greater financial stability.
