Over this snowy weekend, Woodfin has visited me 3 times to help me get my furnace up and running. Scott got my furnace initially up and running and when it died out on me the following day, Larry came that night and fixed the problem so I would not be without heat during the very extremely cold weekend we had. The following Monday, James came out to do my annual maintenance and was very friendly and informative. I couldn't be more pleased with all of them! Great team at Woodfin! Will definitely recommend their service to friends and family.

When I needed work done they came on the first business day, did the job completely, neatly and explained everything. Steve was attentive to my house, worked efficiently and was very personal. I feel that the price for the job was honest and appropriate. I have complete confidence in Woodfin's work.

We had 30 gallons of heating oil left (we use about 5 gallons a day), so we ordered 100 Gallons of heating oil from Woodfin (since they are only a few city blocks from us) on Feb. 9th. We were told the delivery would take place on Feb.10 and were charged for the delivery on Feb. 11th. All other heating oil companies charge you AFTER they deliver the oil, so we figured it was delivered as scheduled and charged. We ran out of oil early Feb. 15. Because we had no heat and it was expected to get down into the Fahrenheit teens, we contacted their "24/7 emergency line" and they said they would get someone out right away... I called back later that day, and they said someone would call and get it delivered first thing on Monday. After dealing with a heat-less night, Monday rolls around and no call. So we call them back and they want to charge us a second time for the same delivery and that someone would be out shortly. After calling back at 3pm, they say someone may be out after 5 pm that day. While our patience was running thin we tried to be as cordial with the customer service staff as possible, but that was even made difficult because 2 out of the 5 calls made, the staff was short tempered, unknowledgeable, and unhelpful.



I later called another heating oil company, Capitol Oil, on Monday afternoon and they were able to deliver heating oil even before Woodfin... more than a whole 1 week faster than Woodfin. As a result of Woodfin's ineptitude, out boiler's pipes froze and we were without heat downstairs for 6 days with some of the coldest temperatures on record and on the 7th day, those pipes started leaking. Tried getting an "emergency plumber" but eventually had to go with another company, because again, Woodfin took their sweet time and has no sense of urgency or customer service.



This company has been blacklisted from this property and all other rental properties I own and I strongly encourage new customers to look elsewhere first.

I totally agree

I was looking up their number for a friend and saw your review. THE SERVICE IS WHY I WILL USE THEM AGAIN. I had a much better experience with Woodfin then my last electrician. I had electricity put in my garage. A guy was fixing the refrigerators at the store near my house. His van said electrical on it. I asked him if he could give me an estimate and was real nice but a little pushy. I checked his prices and he was dead on or cheaper so I gave him the job. Guy left a mess everywhere, put the breaker box panel on upside with a screw missing. I had a divvy in my drive way from where he ran the wire. He left and my electricity didn't work. I had to twist his arm to get him to come back out. The wife going in break box was loose. He said he checked it before he left. Well I decided to run electricity to my shed and almost didn't after my last experience. And decided to find a first class electrical company. I called around and interviewed some companies. I was impressed by Woodfin. And after the job was done they left the place clean. You couldn't tell they had ever been there. They did an outstanding job ran the wire. It was hidden with no mess. I WOULD NEVER USE ANYONE ELSE BUT WOODFIN!

Great Service

My wife's family was coming in from out of town to see our new house. We had only been in the house a few weeks and the hot water stopped working! I called around and kept getting answering machines. Left messages. After a few hours I hadn’t heard from anyone and my work doesn’t like me making personal calls. I kept trying to call people. I called Woodfin and got someone on the first try. They came out and fixed my problem and had the part with them.
