Appointment time is when they start driving to your home. They charge for travel. Service person said he was going to run the machine to make sure it was fixed. If I had consented that would have been extra billable time but I declined. Billed for an hour and a half but one hour was spent at my home.

When our AC went out we called A Appliance Repair. The HVAC guy realized it was an electrical issue &returned later with his boss (the company owner) to make the repair. Less then 48 hours later my whole house goes black. We called A Appliance thinking they may be of help since they were just messing with our wiring. The owner was adamant that he wasn't responsible but in the end agreed to come out and take a look. He looked at the circuit box, gave us a number to call and charged us $100 dollars!! Mind you, he does hvac, he shouldn't be charging us for consultation on an electrical issue. We thought he came out because it was the right thing to do. We had no idea we would be charged for him making a guess at the problem and suggesting we call an electrician. It turned out the whole ground was fried. 2 electrician friends & the dominion pwr guy all agreed this could have been caused by a mistake with AC repair. A Appliance took no responsibility, $400 dollars got us a week without pwr.
A Appliance Repair is the most honest reputable business that I have ever dealt with. They are honest, have great service and also have a pretty good array of quality used appliances for sale as well as new ones, depending on you financial circumstances,.
