Best Calzone around! Very friendly and the owner has a great sense of humor. They really make you feel welcome and want you to spend some time there. Just like a true Restaurant in Italy, come and spend some time and drink the wine. My wife and I have made this our annual Valentine's dinner spot.

We live in Mebane and have been in search of the best Italian restaurant around. We tried this one first...very cute from the outside. Unfortunately that was about all it had going for it. The bread served with our meal was tasteless. The quality of the desserts was average and given the tiny, tiny portions and very high prices for desserts it was certainly not worth it. We tried appetizers, pizza and pasta...none of which I would call good. We thought we had just caught them on a bad night because a few people had recommended the place to us. We went back to have the same experience again. It was all edible but there are certainly better places in the area. We love the pizza and subs at Martinho's. Martinho's is so far the best place we have found with only one complaint...they are closed on the weekends. Personally, I think that it wonderful since it is a family run restaurant but our family goes out mostly on the weekends so we aren't able to eat there as often as we would like.

Worst experience ever in my 30 years of dining at local restaurants. We (party of 9) were there for a Relay for Life meeting. We ordered appetizers and drinks to have during the meeting and dinner to follow. Three of us had to leave after the meeting, but four were staying for dinner. We were insulted by the owner because we didn't stay and "spend more money."
