I had a mini day which began with a delicious lunch of fresh fruit, then a chicken salad croisant with fresh vegetable, unsweetened iced tea with fresh mint from the garden; all served in a beautiful room overlooking scenic country land. I was inspired. Then I had a salt scrub over my entire body which felt amazing. This was performed in a beautiful, wood paneled room with a view of the flower bed. I then soaked in a huge whirlpool tub for 20 minutes. My skin was beautifully refreshed and I then dried off and covered in a bath robe and slippers given to me to use. I was then given a massage which was a 7 out of 10. I wasn't so impressed with the manicure and pedicure part of the mini day- I am accustomed to more of a city than country spa. I was served brownie and ice cream for desert. Overall- the staff were warm, friendly, interesting, and loving. I felt pampered and cared for. Afterwards I walked around the land and sat by the water. It was a wonderful experience.

I requested reflexology and a pedicure. The web site shows a better maintained landscape than I saw. The "spa" toilet was rust stained, no cover on the heater, and a tiny, melted slimy bar of soap was sitting on the sink. I was offered tea and cookies, but I was afraid to try them after that.I was taken into a messy room with a tippy office chair (not shown on the web site). No mood lighting or control of the sunlight. No music, no vibrating chair or comfy footrests, no candles or scent - none of the amenities I associate with a day spa experience. She brought in a cheap portable foot spa and pulled out a reference book on reflexology in order to perform the service. I asked where she had trained, she said a previous employee had trained and certified her in massage. I asked about the modest room set up and was told "This is a country spa". I asked what that meant; she said "I don't know".I have had better experiences in crowded city salons or an in home beauty parlor.
