Leech Carbide manufactures fine grain tungsten carbide and supplies companies throughout the world with quality carbide tooling and wear parts. Custom designed solutions to difficult wear tool applications are the foundation of Leech Carbide's capability. Established in 1965 with 5 employees, the company began to build a carbide plant that employs nearly 70 skilled craftsmen and produces Tungsten Carbide. The plant is located at the company s site in Northwest Pennsylvania. The company has added three times to its production and administrative facility. Leech Carbide boasts more than 45,000 square feet geared to state-of-the-art production and customer oriented estimating, tracking and administration. New computer controlled order entry and tracking procedures and software offer customers JIT delivery and stocking program options. Headquartered in Meadville, Pa., the company is privately owned.
