I was referred because of a possible blister on my retina causing distorted vision. Dr. Vukmer and his staff were friendly and competent; the office is quite modern and the imaging equipment they used was VERY impressive. Dr. Vukmer explained my options clearly, and why surgery didn't make sense at the time. That was about a month ago and things have progressed exactly as he suspected they would (for the better :-). Vision issues can certainly be disconcerting, but you're in good hands with Dr. Vukmer and his staff.
