Free-Col Laboratories offers a range of environmental testing and analysis services. It identifies trace organic compounds in various medium, including air, drinking water, wastewater, soil and hazardous waste. The laboratory detects pesticide, herbicide and synthetic organic compound residues. Free-Col Laboratories uses atomic absorption spectroscopy, ion chromatography and wet chemistry techniques. It administers technical training, education and quality control programs. The laboratory also detects airborne fibers, silica, organic materials and metals in soil and wipes. Free-Col Laboratories provides food and dairy product analysis services. It is accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the Pennsylvania Rural Water Association. The laboratory is a division of Modern Industries.
