Founded in 1973, the Crawford County Drug & Alcohol Executive Commission is a private, nonprofit organization that reduces the incidence and prevalence of chemical substance abuse. The organization offers prevention, intervention, assessment, case management, treatment and rehabilitative programs. The Crawford County Drug & Alcohol Executive Commission also provides outpatient, inpatient, detoxification and hospital care services. The organization offers special tracks for children and dually diagnosed, forensic and female clients. It organizes speakers for school programs, student assistance, and school and citizen groups.
