- Toddlers:Every day brings new experiences for this age group. They learn social and emotional skills through sharing and interacting with other children. Intellectual skills are met through circle/group time, centers, story time, music, art and so much more. During center time children have the opportunity of choice to choose from activities that foster learning with puzzles, manipulatives, blocks, art and dramatic play. Our programs are consistent in routines. They reinforce learned skills and introduce new ones to students throughout their day at Sunrise Learning Center.Two Year Olds:Constantly in motion, two year olds are determined to learn on their own. Sunrise Learning Center provides a rich learning environment that helps children expand their vocabularies, find appropriate ways to express their creativity, and safely discover the world around them. Two year olds learn by active involvement with people and by manipulative objects. Exposure to educational obje ctives is endless. Circle/group time are in our daily routines to enhance their environment of learning. Our program encourages individual growth and development as well as promotes a good foundation and exposure to initiate cooperative group centers (an essential for a life long learner).Three Year Olds:Upon entering this age group, they are typically more independent in their self needs categories.

General Info
Sunrise Learning Center wants to provide a really well rounded curriculum that meets all of our children's needs. As professionals we understand that all children develop at their own rate and pace and wanted a curriculum that met this criteria. We researched for a long time before finding the one that fit our standards and finally decided on the highly acclaimed High Reach Learning Curriculum. It is designed for all ages, infants through Kindergarten.Curriculum content reflects and is generated by the needs and interest of individual children within the group. It incorporates a wide variety of learning experiences, materials and equipment. With instructional strategies to accommodate a broad range of children's individual differences in prior experience, maturation rates, and styles of learning, needs and interest.

My son has gone here for 3 years now and is getting ready to start kindergarten. Of all the daycares in the area when we moved Sunrise was just as good as any other without being over charged. Would recommend this place to anyone. Mrs. Jan and Mr. Ricky are awesome and my kids love them.
My experience at sunrise has been great, and I look forward to my daughter growing with the center.
