we were surprised to find out there is a middle eastern restaurant in mckinney, we had no idea but we don't out often and maybe that's why. anyway, we called in for delivery for some gyro plates and some appetizers to finish the year with. so everything arrived fresh and warm. we were not disappointed.

My brother and I went here for the first time tonight. I had read previous reviews and was expecting some pretty great food. They did not disappoint! We each ordered a gyro plate and it was fantastic. I've had a lot of gyros from a lot of places around the world and this ranks very high on my list. And the hummus--phenomenal. Even the rice, which was simply rice with carrots and peas, was good. The entire dining room was full and 5 or 6 people came in and out for take-out in the time we were there and there was only one person working outside of the kitchen. If he had had a little extra help, this would have been a perfect experience.

First time at Blue Olive Grill although I knew about the place last year. Not close to where I live but we finally came and dined for the first time. I've seen good reviews online and they are pretty much correct. Food was good and seemed fresh and authentic and staff was nice.

The gyro plate was outstanding. The hummus was nice and creamy. Salad was fresh and dressing tasted really good. Very nice place!
