A friend turned me on to this place! You feel like you've gone back in time when you eat at Bill Smith Cafe. It's like a 50's cafe, lots of good, homemade food and very low prices. They don't take credit cards, but they have an ATM there. And the only problem is that it is smokey. They have a non-smoking room in the back, but you have to walk through the smoking areas to get there.

Very Smokey Place, But Very Friendly People, And The Food is GREAT, and makes up for the smoke!

Bill Smith's Cafe is 50 years old and open everyday. You can't get a better breakfast and the chicken fried steak is the best in Texas. Very reasonable prices and the most down home atmosphere around. Don't expect fancy! It isNOT.
