The McGehee Fire & Ambulance Department is a part of the government of the city of McGehee in Arkansas. The department works for the protection of lives and properties. It operates advanced and basic life-support ambulances. The McGehee Fire & Ambulance Department also provides pre-hospital care services to the community. The department has responded to more than 1,250 calls for emergency solutions. It additionally offers vehicle and station maintenance services. The McGehee Fire & Ambulance Department conducts in-service company inspections and administers a training program. The department s fire safety house is toured by over 1,200 children annually. It manages a staff of nearly 15 part- and full-time employees.
