Located in McDonough, Ga., McDonough Public Library is one of the libraries of the Henry County Library System, which is a public library. It is the central facility for the library system that serves the residents of Henry County in Georgia. Additionally, Henry County Library System participates in the shared automation system provided by Georgia Library PINES consortium. The system operates libraries in Stockbridge, Hampton, Locust Grove and Fairview, Georgia. The library works with Henry County Rotary Club to sponsor a special literacy program for parents and children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years.
