The Lake Dow Children's Academy Homework Club strengthens your child's study habits. Our teachers are available for any tutoring your child may need. We are aware that not every child may have homework to complete each day and if this is the case, these children can indulge in some of the exciting literary adventures we offer in our Library and Listening Zone. There is also time to dive into the Discovery Zone where your child may learn to identify rocks or perhaps study the importance of recycling. In the Nova Zone your child will have the opportunity to express her emotions or act out her favorite story. Our Open Air Zone provides activities, which allow your child to interact socially through board games, trivia games and group games. Children explore hobbies and cooking through various self-directed and teacher guided activities in the Construction Zone. Finally, our Media Zone heightens your child's understanding of today's technology through interactive games and educationally based programs. The Lake Dow Children's Academy school age program is designed to extend your child's academic learning from the traditional classroom setting into our quality-learning center.

My 2 yr old transferred from another daycare center and was a little resistant. With the love and affection of the teachers AND the owners the transition went very smooth. My child felt welcome EVERYDAY and to my surprise started walking into class alone in just 2 weeks! I was at the other center and that didn't happen EVER! I made a surprise visit about 1 week later and I saw my child laughing & playing with the kids & teacher. I could tell that my child was happy- finally! This is the absolute BEST day care in Henry County!!!!!!

Lake Dow Childeren's Academy is such a wonderful place for your bundle of joy to be while you are away. The teachers are on such a personal level with the kids and the owner is on a personal level with all of the parents. It is owned by husband & wife and both of them are 120% involved. They truely care, you can tell because ALL the kids are so happy which makes the parents happy!!
