  The firm of Hole & Alvarez, L.L.P. is a small litigation firm that practices exclusively litigation defense. The attorneys with the firm handle lawsuits and trials primarily in the areas of medical negligence, products liability and employment discrimination. Almost all of the firm’s clients are defendants in lawsuits.

• Personal Injury
  Mr. Hole became board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in personal injury law and civil trial law in 1992. In 1997, after returning to private practice, Micaela Alvarez and Ronald G. Hole formed a partnership and  the name of the firm changed to Hole & Alvarez, L.L.P.  The firm tried lawsuits and handled litigation in Cameron, Hidalgo, Kleberg, Maverick, Starr, Willacy, Jim Wells, Duval, Nueces and surrounding counties.  The current firm covers the same areas in addition to Travis County and El Paso County.
• Medical Malpractice
  Ronald G. Hole, a named partner, first practiced as a lawyer in the United States Navy. After serving four years in the Navy, Mr. Hole joined the McAllen law firm of Atlas & Hall, where Mr. Hole eventually became a partner. Mr. Hole was a litigation attorney who handled all types of litigation, but primarily insurance defense and medical malpractice defense cases. While at Atlas & Hall, Mr. Hole tried numerous jury trials. Mr. Hole practiced in county courts at law, state district courts and federal district courts. Mr. Hole also practiced before state and federal courts of appeal.
