Great place with wonderful assortment of clothing.

I thought this store will be very upscale and sale all authentic merchandise only but have many fake items...Be ware!!! Its not like the upscale consignment shop in Chicago. McLean is an upscale city but Betsy & Cornelia's is a knock off store. Don't bother!

This has become my favorite Consignment store. I have been a consignment shopper since 1975, truly! The selections are awesome, everything in good condition, helpful staff and good prices. What more could you want!

I usually donate to Treasure Trove in McLean or to Joseph's Coat in Annandale, because both support women's issues -- breast cancer and domestic violence, respectively, and both accept all donations. Ocassionally I consign at Treasure Trove, in McLean, or at Treasure Chest in Chesterbrook Shopping Center in McLean, and twice recently at Betsy and Cornelia's in McLean. All of these stores have contracts including Betsy and Cornelia's; all are staffed with paid and volunteer staff, some of whom are also consignors. The private stores may have higher prices, but the also have higher standards for consignment and can take better care of consignments, especially Barcelona, which sells more new clothes than consignments -- all at half off or more. At the other consignment stores, there is more choice, but clothes are packed more tightly together. All of the stores work cooperatively; for example, Barcelona recommended Betsy's to me when my consignment had been worn, not "new with tags."

I love this new consignment store. It is a charmingly arranged inviting store to walk around. Betsy is so wonderfully positive and laid back with no rules, regulations and fees imposed upon you. Even though I usually only sell my stuff in consignment stores, I also bought from this one. I could not resist the most beautiful Yves St. Laurent black bag!
