Dr. Love is an excellent doctor. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is very compassionate. I will never take my dogs to another vet. They will do what they have to do to save your pet.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. You can tell they care about what they do and their prices are very reasonable compared to other Vets in the area. Have been going to them for many years and have never had any issues with them. They are definitely worth a visit.

I would like to say that this is one of the least compassionate businesses I have every dealt with to be an animal care provider. I took my dog in to be evaluated for a tumor on his hip at which time Dr. McGarity indicated it should be taken off surgically for which I agreed. I left the dog in their care only to receive a call a couple hours later notifying me that the dog had died. I returned to their office to try to gain an explanation as to what happened. When questioning Dr. McGarity, his only explanation was "his damn heart quit." He would provide no additional information other that they would bury the dog and he made sure to tell me that they would not charge me for the burial. Upon geeave at this time, I was abruptly called out by the front desk and told that before I could leave that I would have to settle my bill. try to communicate with Dr. Love by email regarding this matter, but he does not even have the common courtesy to respond.

Without going through lengthy details, I can truly say that my dog is able to walk, run, play and lead a happy, healthy life because of Dr.Adam McCarty and Palmetto's wonderful staff.I drive a great distance to get there and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. They are true professionals with compassion and the costs are affordable.

I have gone to Palmetto Vet for several years and have seen both Dr. McGarity and Dr Love. They and their staff have always been wonderful to us, and in the case of the death of our cat they were nothing but considerate and sensitive. They did euthanize her due to her health problems, and when I came to pick her up she was wrapped gently in a towel and in a box. They offered to bury her for me, but we wanted her with our family. With our dogs they've been very accurate and caring. They even helped out with an injured owl that was found at my daughters preschool, we got her in a box and I drove her out to their practice. They worked with the Raptor Center to try and help her.



I have nothing but good things to say about them!

A great group of Vet's and staff that really care about the animals. I would not bring my pets and rescues any place else. They have saved so many lives and reached the hearts of many in the community. Dr. James Love and everyone are great.
