  Job Description: Operate imaging equipment to perform digital X-rays and Ultrasound exams in General, Vascular, and Obstetrics/Gynecology areas. Use technical impressions, Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), and offsite radiology group website. Work with providers, radiology group, other imaging technologists, and other office employees. Perform prior authorizations for exams scheduled if indicated. Other office duties such as answering phone, cleaning, stocking, etc.

  The PrimaryPlus-Ashland office opened its doors on September 22, 2014. This office originated as a new, exciting adventure and collaboration with the Ashland-Boyd County Health Department—one of the first of its kind in the state of Kentucky--where PrimaryPlus, a Federally Qualified Heatlh Center, was located inside the Health Department. In April of 2019, PrimaryPlus-Ashland was ready to expand its service ranges in this area and made its move to 432 16th St. (located in the heart of downtown Ashland). The move brought about a large expansion project for PrimaryPlus-Ashland that included the addition of x-ray and ultrasound services, an on-site pharmacy, additional exam rooms, and MORE! In summer of 2020, offices expanded its pediatric service range and even created a seperate pediatric entrance on 16th St. (with the main entrance being located on 17th St.).
