Automated phone service is a joke. It is like riding a Merry Go Round. I will avoid using UPS or vendors who ship my packages using UPS until I can speak with a LIVE person to handle my questions. My package was at a UPS pick up center 10 miles away from my house and they decided to ship it to one 290 miles away, then ship it back to the same one 10 miles away. I sent a package to Kay's Jewelers Gold Exchange using their enclosed UPS package. I sent several gold necklaces and bracelets plus a couple of rings for evaluation and exchange. I tracked the package to the Maumee, Ohio facility where it "got lost". UPS never contacted me to tell me it may have been "lost", I had to go through 30 minutes of automated phone systems to get any answers. I am disgusted about this loss and have little faith it will show up. My biggest regrets that I did not send it USPS Certified mail but I felt Kays Jewelers must have a good relationship with UPS in order to trust them with their jewelry shipments. Just learn from my experience and send important or valuable items USPS certified mail where it must be signed for when received.
