As a person who has been on both the costumer end and the employee end of this business, I want to comment about the reviews Ive just read. Running a studio as big as BDA takes a lot of hard work, more then anyone could possibly know unless you were the director. Hours upon hours of picking costumes, mixing music, creating themes, managing teachers, scheduling, finances...etc.... The business only works if the student and parent are passionate and positive about the experience. It works if the student is respectful, wants to practice and is dedicated as a professional. This studio has been the foundation of my daughters future because she wants it bad! I help at the studio because I care about the students and it is a great outlet for me. Miss Christines allows me the freedom to create and help make the kids performances pop. Awesome place!!!

We have tried other dance studios in the surrounding area but when we came to BDA 5 years ago we knew we had found our second home and would never leave. The staff is professional and the owner is very caring and loving to each dancer in her studio. My daughters have excelled in their technique and have become great dancers thanks to the dedication of the teacers.

We consider this studio our home. Both of my daughters love it there. Incredible teachers from Acro to Glee. Proud to be a part of the BDA family.

Broadway Dance Academy is very friendly, hard working studio! The teachers are beyond qualified. Every teacher either has many years of performing, teaching and college degrees. They work to help the individual needs of every child! The costumes are always age appropriate. The technique level is very strong, They are doing there first full length ballet this year and cant wait to see the amazing show! The competition team has won several awards and medals and do intensives also. Miss Christine is always bringing in master teachers from all genres to benefit the children. I highly recommend this studio for dance, vocal and acting for all children !!!!

Poorly organized and run. Your child is seen as a $ instead of an individual. The company is not run up to par with other local dance studios, and after my daughter was on the team for a few years I can see that technique is not a major part of the curriculum, just the choreography is. Do not waste your time, go somewhere that actually teaches the foundations. Went to a new studio this year and it is leaps and bounds of what my daughter is learning.

The owner does not have a photographer for pictures yet, and it is April Break! Most of the girls in the kickline class hate the class, and after watching it, i must agree, they are not doing anything, and the competition dance team members take one ballet class a week! The studios rooms are small, and portable dance barres are used in place of wall mounted barres. This would be ok, except my Daughter tells me they constantly break during class, as well as slide around as the students work. Some of the staff is absolutely phenomenal, but the good teachers seem to hardly teach any classes. There are not enough technical courses and too many "fun" classes.There are way too many Most of the assistant teachers have little formal dance training. To add to this, the studio is generally disorganized and under managed. My daughters were very excited to start here, but the quality of education is lost by the owners disorganization, which winds up costing the parent's $. Looking elsewhere in '09
