Mathews Readymix is one of the concrete and aggregate manufacturing and distributing facilities of Eagle Materials, which is a Texas-based company that produces gypsum wallboard and recycled paperboard. Founded in 1964 as a part of Centex Corporation, Eagle Materials is one of the United States leading manufacturers and distributors of building materials. It offers portland cement and other products for various building and renovating projects for residential, commercial and industrial structures. The company produces more than 3 million tons of cement annually. Through its American Gypsum Company, Eagle Materials manufactures over 4 billion square feet of wallboard annually. Additionally, it offers nearly 320,000 tons of industrial and consumer paperboard products.
