I stumbled upon Barn 71 feed while i was looking for hay. I had a wonderful experience, the staff and owners are very personable, knowledgeable and very helpful. The quality of the feed was very good and clean. I have continued to purchase my feed here since.

I have been here several times and have had great customer service. the Alfalfa is priced very well and my horses and goats love it. They are conveniently located on Hwy 20. I can pick up my feed on the way in to town, saves me gas, time and money.

I will give the establishment -5 stars. About 1 month ago i purchased 100 bales of Orchard grass from these people. I usderstand that orchard grass comes from an orchard and there is a possibility of sticks etc... in the hay but i have come across more junk in this hay. Small trees trunks, green landscape tape, some other type of blue and white plastic, enough to fill a garbage bag so far and I have only used 10 bales. I spend about 1/2 hour each morning and evening going thru each flake to take out the junk. I made a call to the owner, Erica 2.5 weeks ago to let her know that I was not happy and that i would like to return the hay. She said she would need 1 month to get my money together and I said fine. There are less than 2 weeks left in the month so I stopped by last night to make sure that she would have the money and scheduled to have the hay returned the 29th. She then spoke with her husband and he told her that he would take the hay back but only give me "Credit" not cash. Why would I want "Credit" at a location that does not honor thier word. Why would I ever buy hay or anything there for that matter. Needless to say, I am not very happy right now and she had better hope that nothing happens to my horses from eating this hay.
