The Fremont-Rideout Cancer Center specializes in diagnosis, prevention and treatment for cancer. The center offers radiation oncology process that uses X-rays, electrons and radioactive elements to treat cancers of various organs, such as breasts, prostate, lungs, head, skin and neck. It provides chemotherapy procedure to relieve pain caused by cancer and to control cancer growth. The Fremont-Rideout Cancer Center is affiliated with the UC Davis Health System and uses digital lines to transmit medical data, as well as video and audio for long distance consultations from the system. In addition, the center offers clinical trials of new and experimental medicines and treatments. Located in Marysville, Calif., it is a part of Fremont-Rideout Health Group.
