The Martinsville School District provides Title I and special and gifted and talented education programs. The school district employs subject teachers, nurses, speech pathologists, librarians and counselors. The Martinsville School District offers classes in art, music, physical education and computers to students in kindergarten through grade 12. The district s schools operate English, math, business, science, social studies, language arts, and family and consumer science departments. Its schools parent-teacher organizations sponsor field trips and fundraising events. The Martinsville School District offers membership for the National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and Future Farmers of America (FFA).
