Why are phone numbers so secreative? So far, we haven't gotten magazines and packages that should have been delivered from this post office.

I have had some of my worse experiences with the postal service and the latest is no different. The forwarding of my mail has taken so long to get to me and trying to find a e-mail or phone number to talk to someone directly at my previous post office seems to be impossible. When calling the 800# all that could be done is to document my situation and then they will get back to me in 24 hours. That doesnt help me much especially considering the situation I was in. Needless to say I wil do my best to not you the post office for very much if anything at all.

Unbelievable!!!! First I get other people's mail then I get no mail! I file a complain and the problem still doesn't get fix!!!! After 4 months you would think they start hiring people who can handle something as simple as handling mail!!!

Agonizingly slow -- bring something to read. Long lines, concrete floors, and slow service make this an extremely nerve wracking experience. Usually only one or two of the four windows staffed, and while it's very nice that the counter clerks will take the time to individual wrap and pack -- and supply a box -- for people, it's not so nice for the line stretching out the door because the clerk spent nine minutes on a customer who should have had their package ready to ship. Even with simple things, like a call tag, the clerks can never find the box in less then five minutes -- which truly endears you to the thirty people behind you.Unfortunately some things have to be done at the main post office, or I'd avoid this place at all costs. Not to mention that there's no place else to go. Last order I placed for stamps online took twelve days to show up. I use Priority Mail online whenever possible to avoid having to deal with the local offices.
