General Info

I have immediate openings for two full-time childcare positions and one part-time position in my smoke free, pet free home. I am a former nurse and a mother of three. I am currently in the process of obtaining licensing for childcare. I have lots of experience with children, not only my own but as a nurse and in a childcare setting. I am certified in first aid as well as CPR. Personal and professional references available. I offer children a lightly structured environment where they can learn and grow as individuals. My curriculum will focus on letter/number/shape/color recognition, music, art, social skills, self-help skills and most importantly, PLAY. My home is located in Chestnut Ridge and offers a safe, quiet neighborhood with plenty of room to run. We have lots of toys and a childcare/homeschooling room stocked with games and activities. Accepting private pay as well as Mountain Heart. Part-time position is for Tuesday and Thursday. Only need an occasional evening childcare or someone who is willing to work with a drop in status? I am also willing to work with those who only need occasional care.
