Don't get strung along by Gold's Gym! If you want to cancel your Gold's Gym account, then you need to inform the gym's ACCOUNTING dept. via email, and as of that moment they'll make you pay for 30 more days. Don't get FOOLED by the slick-talking line they say at the front desk "Cancel at any time." This is deliberately incomplete information. If you press them on it, they'll admit that what is correct is that you can give your 30-day-notice at any time; but even then they don't always tell you that the 30 days starts ONLY if you notify the Accounting Dept. via email. If you just let the front desk know "I'm giving my 30 days notice now", then you are going to get had, because they will tell you that your account is cancelled or that "we've taken care of it," but meanwhile they will keep on charging you. I've been strung along for 3 months now, while they kept charging me. Only after 10 calls did I get my account cancelled, and they still wouldn't refund for the unused months.
