Associated Electric Cooperative provides wholesale power to six regional and 51 local electric cooperative systems in Missouri, northeast Oklahoma and southeast Iowa. The cooperative serves more than 800,000 customers. Its mission is to provide an economical and reliable power supply and support services to members. Associated Electric Cooperative's economic development department is dedicated to supporting member systems in efforts to help businesses expand or relocate to specific service areas. The organization is a Touchstone Energy cooperative. It is based in Marston, Mo.
