Shannan Lester obtained her bachelor of science degree from Eastern Michigan University's College of Health and Human Services. She continued her education at the University of Michigan's School of Social Work where she received her Master of Social Work degree. She has experience as a group facilitator, substance abuse therapist, home based family therapist, outpatient therapist, and as a school-based therapist.
