NGMC also joined the Winship Cancer Network as an affiliate of the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, expanding access to cancer care in our region.
- Primary CareLongstreet Clinic is a primary care and multi-specialty practice devoted to providing high quality medical care at convenient locations across Northeast Georgia. Since its founding in 1995 from a merger of eight single specialty practices, Longstreet Clinic has grown into one of the largest independent group practices in the state. The private, multi-specialty medical group has office locations in nine Northeast Georgia cities and employs over 800 people, including more than 200 physicians and advanced practice providers who represent 19 specialties. With a fully-integrated Electronic Health Record, Longstreet Clinic offers patient convenience with onsite imaging and laboratory services.
- Family PracticeAdditionally, Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s Graduate Medical Education (GME) program expanded to 200+ residents in General Surgery, Internal Medicine and Family Medicine programs in 2024. The program plans to extend across six specialties and two fellowship programs – General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, and Transitional Year. The GME program is expected to drive more than $66 million into Hall County’s economy from 2019 to 2023 – and an additional $18 million in local economic impact for each year after.

- ImmunizationsThe Hall County Health Department / District 2 Public Health serves all county residents in its mission to prevent disease, injury, and disability; promote health and wellbeing; and prepare for and respond to disasters. During the last five years, the health department has served over 35% of the county population offering immunizations, travel vaccinations, family planning services, maternal and child health services, chronic disease screenings and nutrition programs. Environmental health services include restaurant, swimming pool, and sewage system inspections.
