Founded in 1901, Hillside School is an independent boarding and day school for boys in grades five through nine. It offers a range of academic courses, such as science, language arts, mathematics, French, history, music, English and Spanish. The school provides opportunities for students to participate in various athletic activities, including soccer, cross country, golf, basketball, wrestling, ice hockey, skiing, lacrosse, baseball, track and field and tennis. It offers a farm immersion program that involves students in animal husbandry, aquaponics, environmental stewardship, and organic vegetable and apple growing. The school s summer term program includes a range of academic enrichment and off-campus educational and recreational activities. Hillside School is located on a 200-acre site in Marlborough, Mass., and is approved by the Daughters of the American Revolution.
