Wyandot is the salty snack industry's premier supplier of Private Label Potato Chips and Corn Based snacks, servicing most chains, supermarkets and wholesalers throughout the United States. With facilities in Marion, Ohio and Jeffersonville, Ind., Wyandot has been a stable and growing leader in the industry for more than 65 years. Founded in 1936, Wyandot began as a popcorn processor supplying the highest quality raw corn available to ball parks and movie houses. In the early 1960's, Wyandot ventured into Private Label snacks by supplying corn based products to regional potato chippers, thus expanding these popular regional brands. As black and white generics and store brands began to appear as alternatives to the national and regional brands, Wyandot quickly became the Private Label snack vendor of choice for most chains, supermarkets and grocery wholesalers.
