Located in Marion, Mass., Tabor Academy is a college preparatory boarding and day school. The academy has a more than 85-acre facility and over 80 faculty members. The academy has average class sizes of 12 students and the student-teachers ratio is 6-to-1. It has a modern languages department that provides honors classes in French, Spanish, German and Chinese. Its nautical science courses include coastal navigation, sail training, celestial navigation and marine architecture. Tabor Academy offers various music classes in chorus, madrigals, wind ensemble and chamber choir. Additionally, the academy provides programs in statistics, aquaculture, molecular biology, human genetics, astronomy, meteorology and modern physics. Its extracurricular activities include speech, debate and community service programs. Tabor Academy provides various sport activities, including hockey, tennis, wrestling, soccer, hockey, softball and football.
