Justice Thurgood Marshall Middle School is a coeducational institution located in Marion, Ind. The school s core curriculum for grades six through eight includes language arts, business, English, family consumer science, social studies, science, mathematics and physical education. It also offers extracurricular classes in art, band, choir, computers, and culinary and fine arts. The school additionally has foreign language, graphic communications and industrial technology departments. Justice Thurgood Marshall Middle School provides several sports activities, such as cross country, volleyball, football, basketball, wrestling, track, and swimming and diving. The school sponsors dance and debate competitions, intramural sports and annual door decorating contests.
