Waiting on customers in a timely fashion seems to be a challenge for the Marion location. I have had better service at the Carbondale location.

Best Sushi in southern Illinois...spicy tuna roll is incredible...always perfect noodles/rice!

Terribly disappointed with the greeting at this restaurant. Arrived with six in our party and expected two more to join us. We were told in a very indifferent manner that we could not be seated until all arrived. The hostess pointed to three bar tables and told we could sit there to wait. One person in our party was elderly. The higher chairs were not practical for her. After 5 minutes of watching the hostess and apparent bartender change the channel on the television, II asked if we could get any drinks and the hostess stated we could go to the bar and get our own. Her attitude clearly conveyed that she couldn't care less about our business. Really? Is the economy so strong that you don't have to care about service?

I ordered steak teriyaki .The small thin sliced tough poor quality beef with a few unseasoned chewy pieces of broccoli that would be better left as a garnish was the "highlight" of the meal.I think the worst part was the lukewarm out of a jar sauce dumped over the meat.The price was outrageous .My daughter's meal was equally pathetic.The waitress disappeared for long periods of time leaving us to go up front to pay for the bill.I would have had a better meal staying home opening a can of La Choy.

Fujiyama in Marion is owned by the same people as the one in Carbondale. They have the BEST sushi around and offers great entertainment and food at the habachi grill. I would suggest it to EVERYONE! ENJOY!
