Mr. Ben Followell, as a residential and commercial plumbing company, organized Ben's Plumbing in 1961. The company quickly earned the reputation of providing quality service backed by an individual of the highest integrity. Advertising based primarily on word of mouth, from a growing list of satisfied customers, the business expanded to include major construction projects. The company's first endeavor into a major construction project was for a rural water district in 1987. This project successful completion launched the company into a new business that has remained one of the company's focal points. On January 01, 1990, the company became Followell Construction Co., Inc, a registered Corporation in the state of Illinois. Jeff R. Followell was named president and chief operating officer of the company in 1992, and has continued to provide the same quality of service and business integrity that the company was founded on.
