The mall offers strong anchors and a relaxed atmosphere. The anchors are Dunham's, Wal-mart, JC Penneys and Younkers. One unique feature is an on-site Applebee's (not freestanding), which is jam packed on Friday nights especially. Even though some storefronts are empty, this is still a decent shopping experience. The mall raises money for needy kids at Christmas time and at back-to-school time. You CAN find what you want while shopping in a relaxed atmosphere. I say this as someone who often shops in larger cities, including Paris and San Francisco. Recently I wore an outfit totally purchased at the mall to a meeting and someone asked me if I bought it in Paris. "No," I said. "It's all from Pine Tree Mall."
