Founded in 1960, the Center for Family Resources offers a range of employment, education, housing, support, mentoring, and financial and food assistance services for low-income families. It administers a leadership development program that includes workshops on various areas related to effective communication, group dynamics, problem solving and decision making. The Center for Family Resources operates the Mansour Center, which is a facility that provides a variety of event management and room rental services. It also offers tobacco-use prevention programs and recreation area construction services. Additionally, the Center for Family Resources conducts several career counseling, GED, and life and job skills training classes. It is located in Marietta, Ga.
