Located in Marietta, Ga., Hickory Hills Elementary enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as math, art, music, science, social studies and physical education. The school s campus includes a media center, gymnasium, outdoor atrium habitats, playground areas, and computer and keyboard instruction laboratories. It offers English for Speakers of Other Languages, special education and early intervention programs. The school s guidance department hosts weekly support groups for students who have experienced a significant loss or change in their lives, such as death, divorce or remarriage. It involves students in several extracurricular activities, such as Hispanic Boy Scouts, safety patrol, student council and chorus. Hickory Hills Elementary is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is a part of Marietta City Schools.
