My practice focuses on providing individual therapy, group therapy and family consultations in health psychology, chronic illness and the individual's adjustment and family's management of various medical conditions. More generally, I provide treatment for mood and anxiety disorders, grief and loss counseling, women's issues, as well as relaxation training and hypnotherapy. I offer a highly personalized treatment approach tailored to each client's needs and based on scientific literature about what is clinically effective. With over fifteen years of experience in clinical psychology, I have worked in a variety of treatment settings and have trained undergraduate and graduate students in psychology. I am currently an adjunct professor at Argosy University Atlanta, teaching graduate students about developmental psychology, abnormal psychology and cultural competence in healthcare service delivery.
