Angling Adventures provides Florida Keys fishing charters. Inshore & Offshore. We have three boats to choose from: 36' Center Console - 23 Bay Boat - 18' Flats skiff. Depending on which boat our boats can accommodate 1-6 customers. Types of fishing we offer are Inshore , Offshore, Flats, Reef, Wreck, and Gulf. Our boats are located in the Middle Florida Keys area of Marathon at The Island Fish Company Restaurant. My son and I had a fun time fishing with them out of Marathon yesterday. We caught lots of fish and even saw some really special wildlife while venturing across the flats. Very good charter captain in the keys I must say. :)
Captain Rich knows how to not only target and successfully catch trophy species, but he also knows how to provide and fun and enjoyable adventure on the water
He was great with me and my kids last week in the Everglades. They all caught fish. I think they were Snook, red fish, snapper, and jacks. Not bad for kids learning to fish. I'll be back with my family for sure.
My kids and I had a fun time fishing with them in Marathon Key. We came down from Michigan in November for our last fishing trip before a long winter. We all caught fish and Rich was really great with my children (ages 7 & 10). That to me was very important. It will be a vacation fishing trip we will remember for a long time. Thanks for another great trip! I fish with Captain Rich several times a year. I always make sure I get to South Florida for Tarpon season in the Spring time and if I'm able to I do another trip at the end of the year for Snook in the Everglades. Rich is a very knowledgeable captain and is always willing to teach new techniques if I'm not doing something right. I've fished with several fishing guides in the keys and I have to say he is definitely at the top of my list of guides I book year after year.
We had a great day today fishing with Capt. Rich. It was really windy but he was great at keeping us comfortable and catching fish. I look forward to fishing with him again tomorrow.
I've fished with fishing guides for over 30 years. Capt. Smith is at the top of my list for sure. Every year I Tarpon fish with him on fly in the Spring. It's always one of the most excited trips I take all year. In fact when I leave the keys each year I'm already looking forward to my next outting with him again next year. If your on the ropes on who to hire for a fly fishing guide in the keys Captain Rich Smith should be at the top of your list.
