I went to Dr Schwenker for acupuncture. The acupuncturist I normally go to was on vacation so I thought I'd give Dr. Schwenker a try. His treatment was not what I expected. The Dr. told me the 1st few visits he usually treats all acupuncture patients the same. He said he uses ?pattern #1? which is for digestive issues. He used eight needles and hooked electrodes to the needles and then I relaxed on the table for 20 minutes. Then he took the needles out and said I was done.From my interpretation, the Dr. uses the same treatment on all the patients the first few visits and then after that he addresses the problems you are having. I didn?t like the fact that I would have to pay for 3 or 4 treatments and have to suffer with my ailment for two weeks before he finally treats my condition. I would rather have the problem addressed the first visit. I recommend finding acupuncturists who is going to start treating your condition on the first visit and not give you a ?generic? treat
