Camp Leelanau and Kohahna offer various summer camping programs for youths. It organizes a variety of recreational activities, such as windsurfing, waterskiing, horseback riding and fishing. The camp conducts various special events, such as Country Fair Day and Summer Olympics. It also imparts basic skills, such as fire building, knot tying and map use, as well as structure building and equipment maintenance and repair. The camp conducts dance classes, including ballet, jazz and tap. Camp Leelanau and Kohahna offers a canoe program for the development of water safety and paddling skills. The camp s sports activities include basketball, baseball, football, soccer, volleyball and roller hockey.
