The Manteno Community Fire Protection District is governed by the city of Manteno in Illinois, which has a population of more than 7,000 individuals. It also offers ambulance, patient care, and fire prevention, protection and suppression solutions. Established in 1948, the Manteno Community Fire Protection District employs over 15 full-time staff members. The fire district organizes various community and educational events for children, adults and senior citizens. In addition, the Manteno Community Fire Protection District provides emergency medical programs that focus on cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
