Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Thurmond holds a master's degree in Clinical Gerontology, which gives him a specialization in more mature patients. He earned his medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in New Jersey and then completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Thurmond is a native Texan who enjoys playing golf, baseball, and spending time with his wife and four children.
