I found the service excellent on (11/19/11) and the food as I have come to expect from Long John's to be of very fine quality. The polite young lady even bought our order to go in a very responsive manner, so of course I took the survey (even though we all know that these type of things are gimmicks that you never win, but the service was good and I felt obligated to). But I find it offensive that I had to press the digit 1 to speak the language of my country (The country that I went to war for in March of 1970 and became 100% disabled while serving as Airborne Combat medic in the 173rd airborne brigade. The country that my Father served as a platoon SGT in the USMC in WWII and was awarded for courage "Above And Beyond" the call of duty on Iwo Jima (an action that wound up later on taking his life while I was still but 14 years of age). And also my Grandfather who died after years of suffering from gasses of trench warfare in WWI. So why should I need to press 1 to speak AMERICAN?
