Lexington Junior High School offers classes in English, math, science, social studies and Spanish to students in grades seven and eight. The school s curriculum also includes subjects, such as art, music, life skills, forensic science, health and special education. Its extracurricular activities include band, choir and orchestra. Lexington Junior High School s library houses a collection of encyclopedias, textbooks, dictionaries, atlases, magazines, newspapers, and fiction and nonfiction books. The school s guidance department organizes counseling sessions on personal problems and career planning.
